Ingredients:
2 white fish fillets (cod or halibut)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp paprika
Β½ tsp garlic powder
Β½ tsp lemon zest
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 lemon (cut into wedges)
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
2 cups frozen fries (or fresh, if you prefer)
Instructions:
Prepare the Fries:
Preheat your oven according to the instructions on your fries package.
Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet.
Bake for the recommended time, turning halfway for crispy, golden fries.
Prepare the Fish:
Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
In a small bowl, mix olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, lemon zest, salt, and pepper.
Rub the spice mixture evenly on both sides of the fish fillets.
Grill the Fish:
Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat.
Grill the fish for 3β4 minutes per side until fully cooked and slightly crispy on the outside. Avoid overcooking to keep the fish tender and juicy.
Assemble the Plate:
Arrange the crispy fries and grilled fish fillets on a plate.
Serve with lemon wedges on the side and garnish with fresh parsley.
Optional Additions:
Add a dollop of tartar sauce or drizzle lemon butter over the fish for extra flavor.
