One-Pot Garlic Butter Sausage and Orzo
Ingredients:
1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
2 tbsp butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup orzo pasta
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp dried parsley
1/2 tsp paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish
Directions:
Cook Sausage: In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add sliced sausage and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
Sauté Garlic and Orzo: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook until fragrant. Stir in orzo and toast for 1-2 minutes.
Simmer: Add chicken broth, heavy cream, parsley, paprika, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook until the orzo is tender, stirring occasionally.
Combine: Stir in Parmesan cheese and cooked sausage. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
