Ingredients:
• 1150g cassava / 1.15 kilograms
• ½ cup sugar
• ½ cup condensed milk
• 1 cup water + ¼ cup
• a pinch of salt
• ube and pandan flavoring (optional)
• grated coconut and cheese (for topping)
Methods:
• Grate the cassava until fine. (If you want this texture), put in a blender and add a little water and blend until smooth. Put in a strainer to drain the juices and let it drip for about 30 minutes.
30 minutes later…
• Discard the juice and add the starch from the juice to the cassava mixture. Add the sugar, condensed milk, water and salt. Mix well until combined.
Optional
• Divide the mixture into 3 if you want it to have flavor. Grease the molders and add the cassava mixture.
• Prepare the steamer and fill it with water.
Set on medium heat. When it boils, place the molders in the steamer. Steam for 20 minutes.
Remove from steamer. Set aside to cool down.
Coat with grated coconut and cheese.
