Cheesy Garlic Butter Chicken
Ingredients:
– 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
– 1/2 teaspoon paprika
– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
– 4 garlic cloves, minced
– 1/2 cup chicken broth
– 1 teaspoon soy sauce
– 1 teaspoon lemon juice
– 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
– 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Directions:
1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and sear for about 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, melt the butter and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
4. Pour in the chicken broth, soy sauce, and lemon juice. Stir well, then return the chicken to the skillet.
5. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and let the chicken simmer for about 5-7 minutes until fully cooked.
6. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the chicken breasts. Cover the skillet again and cook for another 2 minutes until the cheese melts.
7. Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve warm with your favorite sides.
