Ingredients:

For the Casserole:
3 cups cooked chicken, shredded or cubed (rotisserie chicken works great!)
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
1 cup mayonnaise
1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp dried thyme (optional)
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 cup green onions, chopped (optional, for garnish)
For the Topping:
1 1/2 cups crushed Ritz crackers (or any buttery crackers)
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional for extra cheesy goodness)

Instructions:

Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.

Prepare the Chicken Mixture:
In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, mayonnaise, sharp cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and thyme (if using).
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix everything well until the ingredients are fully incorporated.

Assemble the Casserole:
Transfer the chicken mixture into the prepared casserole dish, spreading it evenly to cover the bottom.

Make the Topping:
In a small bowl, combine the crushed Ritz crackers with melted butter. Stir to coat the crackers in the butter evenly.
Sprinkle the buttery cracker mixture over the top of the chicken casserole.

Bake the Casserole:
