Braised Chicken Wings Recipe

Ingredients:

1 lb chicken wings, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 red chili pepper, sliced
1 green chili pepper, sliced
2 tablespoons cooking oil
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon dark soy sauce (for color)
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 cup water
2 cloves garlic, minced
1-inch piece of ginger, minced

Instructions:

Heat the cooking oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the chicken and cook until browned on all sides.

Add the garlic and ginger and cook for another minute.

Add the red and green peppers and cook for 2-3 minutes, until softened.

In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and water.

Pour the sauce over the chicken and vegetables and bring to a boil.

Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
Serve over rice
