Fudgy Brownie Cookies 🍪🍫

Ingredients:

1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup unsalted butter
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup additional chocolate chips

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt 1 cup of chocolate chips with the butter in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth. Let cool slightly.
In a large bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
Pour in the melted chocolate mixture and mix until combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Stir in the additional chocolate chips.
Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the tops are shiny and crackled but the centers are still soft.
Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Tips:
For extra fudginess, chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking.
