Ingredients:
1 lb chicken tenders
8 slices bacon
½ cup brown sugar
1 tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp black pepper
¼ tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
2 tbsp maple syrup
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil and place a wire rack on top.
In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
Wrap each chicken tender with a slice of bacon, tucking the ends underneath to secure.
Roll the bacon-wrapped tenders in the brown sugar mixture, ensuring they are evenly coated.
Place the tenders on the wire rack, ensuring they are spaced apart for even cooking.
Drizzle each tender with a little maple syrup for extra caramelization.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the bacon is crispy and the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F/74°C).
