Chocolate Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour

2 cups granulated sugar

¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

2 tsp baking powder

1 ½ tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt

1 cup milk

½ cup vegetable oil

2 large eggs

2 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup boiling water

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch cake pans.

2. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

3. Add the milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Beat until well combined.

4. Stir in the boiling water. The batter will be thin, but that’s normal.

5. Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans.

6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

7. Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.

8. Frost with chocolate frosting or your favorite topping, then serve and enjoy!
