Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bites

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bites

Ingredients:

– 1 cup all-purpose flour
– ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
– ½ cup brown sugar, packed
– ¼ cup granulated sugar
– 2 tablespoons milk
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– ½ teaspoon salt
– 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (plus extra for topping)
– 1 ½ cups chocolate melting wafers

Directions:

1. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy and smooth.
2. Add the milk, vanilla extract, and salt, then mix until combined.
3. Gradually add the flour and stir until a dough forms. If needed, heat the flour in the microwave for 30 seconds to ensure it’s safe to eat raw.
4. Fold in the chocolate chips, making sure they are evenly distributed.
5. Line a baking dish with parchment paper and press the dough into an even layer. Freeze for about 30 minutes or until firm.
6. Once firm, cut the dough into bite-sized cubes and place them back in the freezer while preparing the chocolate coating.
7. Melt the chocolate wafers in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth.
8. Using a fork or dipping tool, coat each cookie dough bite in melted chocolate, letting excess drip off before placing them on a parchment-lined tray.
9. Sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top before the coating sets.
10. Let the bites set at room temperature or refrigerate for quicker results.
