Creamy Cheesy Garlic Butter Rigatoni with Savory Beef
Ingredients:
– 1 lb rigatoni pasta
– 1 lb ground beef
– 2 tablespoons butter
– 4 cloves garlic, minced
– 1/2 cup heavy cream
– 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
– 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
– Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Directions:
1. Cook the rigatoni pasta following the instructions on the package until it’s just right. Then, drain it and set it aside.
2. In a big skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Put in the ground beef and break it apart with a spatula. Cook until it’s browned and fully cooked, which should take about 5-7 minutes.
3. Add the minced garlic and cook for another 1-2 minutes until it smells really good.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and let it simmer until the sauce thickens, which should take about 2-3 minutes.
5. Mix in the Parmesan cheese and mozzarella cheese until they melt and the sauce becomes smooth. Season it with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if you want a bit of heat.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and mix it well with the creamy sauce.
7. Before serving, sprinkle some fresh parsley on top for a nice touch.
