Decadent Chocolate Strawberry Swirl Cheesecake Ingredients:
– 1 ½ cups chocolate cookie crumbs
– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
– 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
– 1 cup granulated sugar
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 4 large eggs
– 1 cup fresh strawberries, pureed
– 1/4 cup chocolate syrup Directions:
Preheat oven: Set your oven to 325°F (160°C).
Make the crust: In a bowl, combine chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter. Mix until crumbs are moistened. Press this mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
Beat cream cheese: In a separate bowl, beat softened cream cheese with granulated sugar and vanilla until smooth.
Add eggs: Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Swirl in strawberry: Pour half of the cream cheese mixture into the crust. Then, drizzle half of the pureed strawberries and chocolate syrup on top. Use a knife to gently swirl them together.
Add remaining mixture: Pour the rest of the cream cheese mixture on top. Repeat the swirling with the remaining strawberry puree and chocolate syrup.
Bake: Place the pan in the oven and bake for about 55-60 minutes, or until the center is set.
Cool: Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool inside for 1 hour. Then, refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
