Garlic Butter Steak Pasta 🥩🍝✨
Ingredients:
For the Steak:
1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 tbsp olive oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
Salt and black pepper, to taste
For the Pasta:
12 oz fusilli or your favorite pasta
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
1/2 cup beef broth
1/4 cup dry red wine (optional)
1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
Cook the Pasta:
Boil the pasta in salted water until al dente according to the package instructions. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
Sear the Steak:
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steak pieces with salt and pepper.
Sear the steak for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Prepare the Garlic Butter Sauce:
In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and onion, sautéing until fragrant and translucent, about 2-3 minutes.
Stir in cherry tomatoes and cook until they soften, about 5 minutes.
Add beef broth, red wine (if using), and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly reduced.
Combine Steak and Pasta:
Return the steak to the skillet. Add the cooked pasta and reserved pasta water, stirring to combine.
Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the pasta and toss until everything is well coated.
Garnish and Serve:
Top with fresh parsley and a sprinkle of black pepper. Serve warm and enjoy this hearty, flavorful dish!
