Garlic Butter Stir-Fried Vegetables
A quick and flavorful veggie stir-fry perfect as a side or main dish! Ingredients:
1 cup broccoli florets
1/2 cup carrots, thinly sliced
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
2 tablespoons butter or olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
2 tablespoons water
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt Step by Step:
Prepare the Sauce:
Mix soy sauce, cornstarch, and water in a small bowl. Set aside. Sauté the Vegetables:
Heat butter or olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
Add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Cook the Veggies:
Add carrots and cook for 2 minutes.
Stir in broccoli and mushrooms, cooking for another 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp. Add the Sauce:
Pour in the prepared sauce and toss to coat the vegetables.
Cook for 1 more minute until slightly thickened. Serve & Enjoy:
Transfer to a plate, garnish with sesame seeds (optional), and serve warm!
