Ground Beef and Potatoes
Hearty Ground Beef and Potato Skillet
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
4 medium potatoes, diced
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup beef broth
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon dried thyme
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing for 2-3 minutes until the onion is translucent.
Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
Stir in the diced potatoes, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper. Bring the mixture to a boil.
Reduce the heat to low, cover the skillet, and let it simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender, stirring occasionally.
Once the potatoes are cooked through, taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
