I’m definitely going to make this! Sounds refreshing.
Ingredients:
4 cups water
3 green tea bags
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, sliced
1/4 cup honey (or to taste)
1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
Ice cubes
Lemon slices for garnish (optional)
Directions:
Boil the water:
Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a medium pot. Remove from heat.
Steep the tea and ginger:
Add the green tea bags and fresh ginger slices to the hot water. Cover the pot and let the mixture steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on your desired tea strength.
Sweeten with honey:
Remove the tea bags and ginger slices. Stir in the honey while the tea is still warm, allowing it to dissolve completely.
Add lemon juice:
Stir in the freshly squeezed lemon juice.
Chill the tea:
Let the tea cool to room temperature. Transfer it to the refrigerator and chill for at least 1 hour.
Serve:
Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled tea over the ice. Garnish with lemon slices if desired.
Enjoy this refreshing and healthy drink
