Honey Garlic Bacon Chicken
A sweet, smoky, and savory dish featuring tender chicken tenders glazed in a honey garlic sauce with crispy bacon. Perfect for a flavorful dinner!
Ingredients :
1 ½ lbs chicken tenders
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp smoked paprika
6 slices bacon, chopped
2 tbsp butter
¼ cup honey
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp soy sauce
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions :
Cook the Bacon:
In a large skillet, cook chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy.
Remove and drain on paper towels, leaving about 1 tbsp bacon grease in the pan.
Sear the Chicken:
Season chicken tenders with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
In the same skillet, melt butter and cook chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from pan.
Make the Honey Garlic Sauce:
In the skillet, add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
Stir in honey, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, and soy sauce.
Let simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
Combine Everything:
Return chicken to the pan, coating it in the sauce.
Sprinkle crispy bacon over the top and simmer for another 2 minutes.
Garnish & Serve:
Transfer to a serving plate and garnish with fresh parsley.
Serve hot with rice, mashed potatoes, or roasted veggies.
