Ingredients

Ingredients:
1 oz chocolate syrup (for the base)
1.5 oz chocolate liqueur (such as Godiva)
1 oz cherry liqueur (or cherry syrup for a mocktail version)
2 oz heavy cream or Irish cream liqueur (e.g., Baileys)
1-2 tsp red berry syrup (for swirling effect)
Ice cubes (optional, for slight chill)
Fresh or maraschino cherries (for garnish)
A rogue cherry (don’t ask why)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Glass:
Drizzle chocolate syrup generously into the bottom of a short tumbler glass. Allow it to settle, creating a rich, dark base.
2. Layer the Creamy Drink:
In a shaker, combine chocolate liqueur and heavy cream (or Irish cream liqueur). Shake gently for a smooth blend.
Carefully pour the mixture over the chocolate syrup base, using the back of a spoon to maintain clean layers.
3. Create the Swirl Effect:
Slowly drizzle the red berry syrup along the inside of the glass. Use a toothpick or skewer to swirl the syrup through the cream layer, creating artistic wave-like patterns.
4. Garnish the Drink:
Top with a handful of fresh or maraschino cherries. And, of course, place a rogue cherry casually on top—don’t ask why, it’s just part of the charm.
5. Serve and Enjoy:
Serve immediately while maintaining the beautiful layered presentation. Use a long spoon or straw for drinking, and enjoy the rich, decadent flavors of chocolate, cream, and cherries.
Tips:
For a non-alcoholic version, replace the chocolate and cherry liqueurs with chocolate milk and cherry syrup.
Chill the glass beforehand for a frosty effect.
Adjust the swirl design to your liking for an artistic presentation.
Because sometimes, a rogue cherry is all you need to make life interesting. 🍒
