1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 ¾ cups granulated sugar
4 large eggs
1 cup whole milk
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
2 ½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
¼ cup cocoa powder
1 tsp vanilla extract Directions:
Cream Butter & Sugar: Beat butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
Add Eggs: Mix in eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
Alternate Mixing: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with milk. Mix until smooth.
Create Chocolate Batter: Transfer ⅓ of the batter to a separate bowl and mix in cocoa powder until well combined.
Swirl It! Pour the vanilla batter into a greased loaf or bundt pan, then add the chocolate batter on top. Swirl gently with a knife to create a marbled effect.
