Ingredients
For the Crust:
2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
½ cup melted butter
For the Mousse Filling:
1 ½ cups heavy cream
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips, melted
¼ cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Topping:
½ cup whipped cream
Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder (optional)
Directions
Prepare the Crust: Mix chocolate cookie crumbs with melted butter until combined. Press firmly into the bottom of an 8×8-inch dish. Refrigerate while preparing the filling.
Make the Mousse: In a bowl, beat heavy cream, melted chocolate, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and fluffy.
Spread the mousse evenly over the chilled crust.
Chill & Serve: Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
Before serving, top with whipped cream and garnish with chocolate shavings or a dusting of cocoa powder.
