One Pan Chicken with Buttered Noodles

One Pan Chicken with Buttered Noodles

Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
8 ounces egg noodles
3 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Directions:
1. Cook the Chicken:
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Place the chicken in the skillet and cook for 5–6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Transfer the chicken to a plate and set aside.
2. Prepare the Noodles:
In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds, or until fragrant. Add the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Stir in the egg noodles, cover the skillet, and cook for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the noodles are tender and most of the liquid is absorbed.
3. Finish the Dish:
Reduce the heat to low. Stir in the butter and grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy. Return the cooked chicken breasts to the skillet, nestling them into the noodles. Allow the chicken to heat through for 2–3 minutes.
4. Serve:
Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley, if desired. Serve immediately, ensuring each portion includes both chicken and noodles.
