Pan-Fried Pork Belly with Spices


Ingredients:

Pork belly, sliced
Salt
Light soy sauce
Cooking wine
Pepper
Cumin powder
Chili powder
Onion, chopped
Ginger, minced
Garlic, minced
Cooking oil
Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

1. Marinate the Pork Belly:
In a bowl, combine the sliced pork belly, light soy sauce, cooking wine, salt, and pepper.
Mix well to coat the pork belly evenly.
Marinate for at least 30 minutes, or longer for enhanced flavor.

2. Pan-Fry the Pork Belly:
Heat cooking oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
Add the marinated pork belly slices to the pan and cook until browned on all sides.
Remove the pork belly from the pan and set aside.

3. Sauté Aromatics:
Add more oil to the pan if needed.
Sauté the onion, ginger, and garlic until fragrant.

4. Combine and Season:
Return the pork belly to the pan.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds, cumin powder and chili powder, adjusting the amount according to your desired spice level.
Stir-fry for a few minutes to ensure the spices are evenly distributed and the pork belly is well-coated.

5. Serve:
Transfer the pan-fried pork belly to a serving plate.
Serve hot with rice
