Sizzling Chinese Pepper Steak with Onions 🥩🧅
Ingredients:
1 lb flank steak (thinly sliced)
2 tbsp soy sauce (use low-sodium if preferred)
1 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp vegetable oil (divided)
1 large onion (sliced)
2 bell peppers (sliced)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 tbsp ginger (minced)
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1/4 cup water
1 tsp black pepper
Instructions:
Toss sliced steak with 2 tbsp soy sauce and cornstarch, let marinate for 15 minutes.
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan, stir-fry steak until browned, then set aside.
In the same pan, heat the remaining oil and sauté onions, peppers, garlic, and ginger until fragrant.
Return steak to the pan. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, water, and black pepper. Stir and cook until sauce thickens.
Serve hot over rice.
Notes:
Adjust the pepper level to your spice preference.
Use red and green bell peppers for color variety.
