Cook Time: 15-20 minutes
Total Time: 25-30 minutes
Servings: 1-2
Ingredients :
For the steak:
1 steak (sirloin, ribeye, or your choice)
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil or butter
Optional: garlic powder, onion powder, or steak seasoning for extra flavor
For the pancakes:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup buttermilk
1 egg
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Maple syrup for drizzling
For the scrambled eggs:
2 eggs
1/4 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon butter
Directions :
Cook the Steak:
Season the steak with salt, pepper, and any other desired seasonings.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil or butter.
Once hot, cook the steak for 4-6 minutes per side for medium-rare (adjust time based on thickness and desired doneness). Let the steak rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Make the Pancakes:
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In a separate bowl, mix the buttermilk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined (do not overmix).
Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat. Pour batter to form pancakes. Cook for about 2-3 minutes per side or until golden brown.
Drizzle with maple syrup after serving.
Scramble the Eggs:
In a bowl, whisk the eggs and season with salt and pepper.
Heat a skillet over medium-low heat and melt butter. Add the eggs and cook, stirring occasionally, until soft curds form.
Add cheese and cook until melted, then remove from heat.
Assemble the Plate:
Serve the steak, pancakes, and scrambled eggs together on a plate. Drizzle the pancakes with maple syrup and garnish the eggs with extra cheese if desired.
