Steak Bites and Rotini in Garlic Parmesan Sauce
Ingredients:
1 lb steak (such as sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized cubes
12 oz rotini pasta
3 tablespoons butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
Cook the rotini pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Season the steak bites with salt and pepper. Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steak bites for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Lower the heat to medium and pour in the heavy cream. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens.
Add the cooked rotini to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Add the steak bites back to the skillet and mix gently to combine.
Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan cheese if desired.
