Ingredients:
– 1 lb green beans, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
– 1/2 lb ground pork
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1-2 red chilies, finely chopped (adjust to your spice preference)
– 2 tablespoons soy sauce
– 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional, for added umami)
– 1 tablespoon cooking oil
– Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Prepare the ingredients: Wash and trim the green beans. Mince the garlic and chop the chilies.
2. Stir-fry the pork: Heat the cooking oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground pork and stir-fry until browned and cooked through. Remove the pork from the wok and set aside.
3. Stir-fry the green beans: Add the green beans to the wok and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened but still crisp-tender.
4. Add aromatics: Add the minced garlic and chilies to the wok and stir-fry for another minute until fragrant.
5. Combine and season: Return the cooked pork to the wok. Add soy sauce and oyster sauce (if using). Stir-fry for another minute to combine and coat the green beans and pork in the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Serve: Serve hot as a side dish or main course.
