Sweet and Sour Chicken Feet Recipe

Ingredients:

1 lb chicken feet
1 tbsp cooking oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 inch ginger, minced
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup rice vinegar
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 red chili, sliced (optional)
Green onions for garnish

Instructions:

1. Clean the chicken feet:
Rinse the chicken feet under cold water. Trim the nails and any rough patches using a sharp knife.

2. Boil the chicken feet:
In a large pot, cover the chicken feet with water and bring to a boil. Let them cook for 5-7 minutes, then drain and rinse with cold water.

3. Marinate the chicken feet:
In a bowl, combine the chicken feet, soy sauce, and ginger. Allow them to marinate for at least 30 minutes.

4. Cook the chicken feet:
In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant. Add the marinated chicken feet and cook until browned.

5. Make the sweet and sour sauce:
In a small bowl, whisk together the rice vinegar, sugar, water, and cornstarch. Pour the sauce over the chicken feet in the skillet and bring to a simmer. Cook until the sauce thickens, coating the chicken feet.

6. Add the chili and garnish:
If using, add the sliced red chili to the skillet and stir. Garnish with green onions and serve hot.
