Sweet and Sour POMPANO FISH
Ingredients:
• 2 pcs pampano fish
• salt
• cooking oil
• 2 thumbsize ginger
• red & green bell peppers
• 1 cup pineapple chunks
• 1 medium onion
• 1 carrot
• chili powder
⅓ cup water + 3 tsp cornstarch= slurry
Sauce [mix it]
• 1 tbsp oyster sauce
• ¼ cup banana ketchup
• 2 tbsp brown sugar
• 3 tbsp vinegar
• ½ cup pineapple juice
Methods:
✓ Season the fish with salt. Fry in heated oil until golden brown and cooked. Remove from pan.
✓ Put 2 tbsp oil in the pan. Stir fry the carrot for 2 minutes. Add the bell peppers, stir fry for a minute. Add the onion, stir fry for a minute. Pour the prepared sauce, do not stir and let it boil. Season with salt and chili powder. Pour the slurry mixture, stir well until thickened. Add whole peppercorns and pineapple chunks. Cook for a few minutes until the ingredients are incorporated.
