Texas Roadhouse Butter Chicken Skillet
Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup honey
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 cup unsalted butter, cut into pieces
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions:
Prepare the Chicken:
Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
Sear the Chicken:
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5-6 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Prepare the Sauce:
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Stir in honey, chicken broth, and smoked paprika.
Bring the mixture to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
Let the sauce simmer for 3-4 minutes, reducing slightly.
Finish the Dish:
Return the chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning some sauce over each piece.
Add butter pieces around the chicken, allowing them to melt into the sauce.
Simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes, ensuring the chicken is well coated and the sauce is glossy.
Serve:
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
Serve the chicken with the buttery sauce over rice, pasta, or with crusty bread to soak up the delicious sauce.
