Indulge in this heavenly creation with layers of dark, milk, and white chocolate mousse on a buttery chocolate crust, finished with a silky ganache. Every bite is pure chocolate bliss! Ingredients:
For the Crust:
2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
For the Mousse Layers:
1 cup dark chocolate, melted
1 cup milk chocolate, melted
1 cup white chocolate, melted
3 cups heavy cream, divided
¼ cup powdered sugar (for each mousse layer)
For the Ganache:
½ cup heavy cream
½ cup dark chocolate, chopped Directions:
Prepare the Crust:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9-inch springform pan with parchment paper.
In a bowl, mix chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter until combined.
Press the mixture firmly into the pan to form a solid crust.
Bake for 8-10 minutes, then cool completely on a wire rack. Make the Mousse Layers:
In separate bowls, whip 1 cup heavy cream for each mousse layer until soft peaks form.
In another set of bowls, melt dark, milk, and white chocolate, then stir ¼ cup powdered sugar into each.
Gently fold the whipped cream into each chocolate mixture until light and fluffy. Assemble the Cake:
Once the crust has cooled, spoon the dark chocolate mousse onto the crust and smooth it out.
Add the milk chocolate mousse over the dark layer, smoothing evenly.
Finish with the white chocolate mousse on top.
Refrigerate for at least 3 hours, or until firm. Make the Ganache:
Heat ½ cup heavy cream in a saucepan until it just begins to simmer.
Pour over chopped dark chocolate, let sit for 2-3 minutes, then stir until smooth.
