Old-Fashioned Goulash
Ground meat, pasta, and a rich sauce in one pot.
Ingredients:
• Ground beef or turkey (2 lbs)
• Onion (1, diced)
• Garlic (3 tsp)
• Tomato sauce (2 cans)
• Diced tomatoes (2 cans)
• Water (2½ cups)
• Beef broth (½ cup)
• Olive oil (⅓ cup)
• Elbow macaroni (2 cups)
• Bay leaves (3)
• Italian seasoning (1 Tbsp)
• Adobo seasoning (1 Tbsp)
• Seasoned salt (1 Tbsp)
• Black pepper (½ Tbsp)
• Cheddar (½ cup, shredded)
• Mozzarella (1 cup, shredded)
Instructions: Brown meat with onion, garlic, and oil.
Add water, broth, tomatoes, bay leaves, and spices. Simmer.
Stir in macaroni, cover, and cook until tender.
Remove bay leaves, mix in cheddar, and top with mozzarella.
